Upgrades to Tanbark Road

The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake worked with R.V. Anderson Associates Limited, an engineering consultant, to develop a permanent solution for the drainage issues on Tanbark Road.
The work consisted of the following:
- Installation of approximately 650m of 300mm diameter PVC Watermain;
- Installation of approximately 400m of 375mm diameter Storm Sewer; and,
- Approximately 700m of road reconstruction included asphalt, sidewalks, curb, and gutter.
This project was identified as high-priority and the Town has taken into consideration all of the feedback provided by the residents of the area.

The project is scheduled for approximately 15 weeks, weather permitting.
At times there may be some inconvenience to you during the construction period and we respectfully request your patience and co-operation during this period. Should access to your driveway be interrupted, you will be given notice from the contractor. Access to driveways will be restored daily. Work hours will typically be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Residents of the affected area are encouraged to come to the Operations building located at 3 Lorraine Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake (behind Town Hall) to review the parameters of the project. Local residents along Tanbark Road will be notified by written notice during the week of February 5, 2018.
