  • The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake regularly engages with residents, businesses, community groups, and interest holders to gather input on municipal projects, plans, services, and decisions. Community engagement helps the Town understand local priorities, identify opportunities and concerns, and make more informed decisions that reflect the needs and expectations of the community.

The Town is currently developing a Community Engagement Charter and Community Engagement Plan to formalize how engagement is planned, delivered, communicated, and reported. The Charter will outline the Town’s overall commitment and principles for community engagement, while the Plan will provide practical guidance on engagement tools, processes, roles, and expectations.

We want to hear from the Niagara-on-the-Lake community to better understand your experiences with Town-led engagement, how you prefer to participate, what barriers may prevent participation, and how the Town can better communicate how public feedback is considered.

Your input, which will take about 10 minutes to provide, will help inform the development of the Community Engagement Charter and Plan.

This community survey will be open until August 4. All survey responses will remain confidential and anonymous. Results will only be shared and/or published in summarized form.

We thank you in advance for your participation.

If you require accommodation to participate, please email communications@notl.com
