What is a Community Engagement Framework?

A Community Engagement Framework is a guide that helps the Town determine how and when to engage residents, businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders on municipal projects, programs, and initiatives. It establishes principles, tools, and best practices for meaningful public participation.

Why is the Town reviewing its Community Engagement Framework?

The Town is committed to continuously improving how it communicates and engages with the community. This review, identified as an action item in Council's Strategic Plan, will help identify what is working well, where improvements can be made, and how engagement processes can better meet the needs of residents and stakeholders.

How will my feedback be used?

Feedback collected through the survey and other engagement activities will be reviewed and analyzed by StrategyCorp. The input received will help inform recommendations for a refreshed Community Engagement Framework.

What happens after the engagement period ends?

Once all feedback has been collected, StrategyCorp will review and analyze the results and prepare recommendations for a refreshed Community Engagement Framework. The draft framework will then be presented to Council for consideration.

How can I stay informed about the project?

Updates, engagement opportunities, and project milestones will be posted on this page as they become available.
